The video clips from 360 cameras are split into two files, one for each lens. At our first stop, let’s stitch them together and get a .mp4 file. For clips captured with Insta360 cameras, this is easily done using Insta360 Studio software.
Also, note that Insta360 cameras store any clip in 3 file formats: one .lrv file and two .insv files. You can import any one of these files into Insta360 studio. Trim the video clip as you want and click on export icon at the bottom right corner. On the ‘Export 360 video’ tab, change the encoding format to “ProRes 422”. You could also change the file name and location here. Finally, click on ‘Start Export’.
